Affordable Tuition ~ Choice Scholarships and More

We want everyone to be able to afford an SCL education! Choice Scholarships (vouchers) cover up to 80% of tuition costs, depending on the school district you live in. Other scholarships and tuition assistance are available for income-qualified families.

    Take a Tour

    After touring the school, you will feel confident about whether SCL is a great fit for your child. Bring your child, too! We’d enjoy seeing you both.

    Student Shadow Day

    A shadow experience in our classrooms will give your child an immersive experience of how it feels to attend SCL. If school is not in session , we like to have the student visit the school so that we can meet them.

    Complete Registration

    When you visit the school after your child’s shadow day, we will ask you to complete enrollment paperwork and submit a $50 registration fee to secure your child’s spot; it will be applied toward the materials fee for the year.

Private School Education

without the private school price tag

At SCL, we believe that family income should not be a barrier to a child attending our school. Indiana's school voucher program helps many of our families afford tuition. In fact, most of our students qualify for this program, covering almost all of their tuition costs with just a small out-of-pocket expense. Income eligibility requirements for the program are listed here!

Families need to meet the income requirements and three criteria to qualify for the voucher program.

  • RESIDENCY

    Child has a legal settlement in Indiana

  • AGE

    Child is at least five years of age and less than 22 years of age on or before October 1 of the school year

  • Icon of three people with a heart in front, representing community or care

    INCOME

    Child is a member of a household with an annual income of not more than 400% of the amount required for the individual to qualify for the federal free or reduced price lunch program

  • The application process is quick and easy. Complete the form on this page and we will contact you to walk you through the next steps.

  • Most of our families qualify for tuition support through a Choice Scholarship and only need to pay a very small tuition fee. 

    If you are concerned about your ability to pay for an SCL education for your student, please reach out and our team will make sure to explore every option to make SCL affordable for your family. 

  • Yes. SCL gives priority to applications from families that already have a sibling in attendance at our school, and to the children of parents employed at our school. 

  • We believe that all students deserve a quality education regardless of their ability to pay a private school price. We're excited to share that most of our students are eligible for a School Choice Voucher and pay little, if anything, in tuition costs. 

  • If we receive more applications than there are places available for a specific grade, we hold a random lottery from online applications received between September 1, 2024, and January 31st, 2025. Families are notified by email if a lottery is necessary. Applicants who do not receive an offer from the lottery are put on a waitlist and notified if space becomes available.

  • We ask you to submit a $50 registration fee to secure your child's spot; it will be applied toward their materials fee for the year.  

  • We have a commitment to removing family income as a barrier to enrollment. Our tuition structure reflects this. 


    Most of our students qualify for some level of financial assistance.


    We accept Choice Scholarships provided by the state of Indiana, and we also offer tuition assistance to qualifying families.

    2025-2026 Tuition Rates:

    Half-Day Pre-K: $4,700

    Half Day Kindergarten: $6,450

    Full Day Pre-K: $6,200

    Full Day Kindergarten-8th Grade: $8,700 

    ENROLLMENT/MATERIALS FEE:

    The enrollment fee is $50 for all students. This amount then covers your Materials Fee for the year.

    TECHNOLOGY FEE:

     Technology fees: $50 per student each year, grades Pre-K through 8.

    CURRICULUM/TEXTBOOK FEE

    The curriculum fee for 2025-26 is $125.

  • Yes! If a student has an Individual Education Plan (IEP) or a  Choice Scholarship Education Plan (CSEP), we request that the parent submit it to us so that we can be sure the services and supports we provide would be a good fit to meet the child's needs.

  • Mid-year transfers are allowed if there is space. Any students interested in transferring mid-year would go through the same enrollment process as other students enrolling. Parents should call the school and come in for a meeting.
